Trauma, Fear, Anxiety
How do you handle these? Sometimes, life can be challenging. You find yourself dealing with one trauma after another, moving from one anxiety to the next, in an unending cycle. It keeps going, and just when you think you're done, another one comes along.
It can feel as though your heart is bleeding, and your mind is adrift.
Defense Mechanisms: These are our body's natural shields against pain, sadness, and difficult emotions.
Some people repress, some deny, some project, some regress, some rationalize, some sublimate, some displace, some engage in reaction formation, some intellectualize, and some compensate.
How do you handle yours?
It's exhausting, but you must keep going.
Pain will always be a part of life, and anxiety may knock on your mind from time to time. You may continually yearn for "sleep," which can be challenging to achieve.
Rest.
Connect with yourself.
You may be broken, but you're alive.
You may be wounded, but you've remained resilient.
You may be in pain, but you've endured it.
In this world, nothing remains constant.
People will come and go from your life.
Be prepared to be alone.
Problems will come and go.
Be prepared to survive.
Changes will keep coming.
Be prepared to adapt.
Time will continue to pass.
Be prepared to grow.
"Gulong ng buhay, patuloy-tuloy sa pag-ikot. Noon ako ay nasa ilalim... sana bukas nasa ibabaw naman."
Darating din tayo jan... Wla pa tayo sa exciting part.
P.S.: Why am I sharing so much here? Because I can't sleep.
P.S. again: New avatar, new life, new beginning. Let's keep moving forward.
